Celebrating a tradition of service since 1876.

Thanks to you, our customers and our communities.

What's the secret to reaching 150?

Never get old.

We refresh our tradition every day, with every customer.

When your foundation is strong, you can embrace what’s next without losing what matters. For 150 years, we’ve proven that traditional values like honesty, respect, and compassion don’t have to stand still.

150 Years of Tradition for Today

A history founded in principle, driven by progress, and focused on your success.

Our tradition began in 1876.

When we were founded, Wichita was a city on the rise. And when C.Q. Chandler II purchased the bank in 1900, he knew the bank would endure not only if it understood and supported its community but did business in a way that would earn its community’s trust.

Putting down roots.

The completion of our headquarters in 1922 helped C.Q. cement his promise to be a bank that the Wichita area and surrounding region could count on for the long term. The more than 100-year-old building on the corner of Douglas and Main still serves as our home today.

Embracing progress.

Through every era, the advancements we make will always center the age-old question: “How can I help you today?” In 1953, we introduced Wichita’s first drive-thru banking experience. In 1973, Kansas’ first ATM. And in 1997, the first real-time online banking website in the state. Innovation focused on quality service — faster, better, and in the ways you expect — remains among our top priorities.

Investing in the next 150 years.

From Wichita to Kansas City, Oklahoma City to Northwest Arkansas. Whether you’re a personal banking customer, a small business owner, a commercial enterprise, or a wealth management client, our relationship with you matters as much as the financial service we provide. That mindset has steered us for 150 years and will continue guiding us as we shape the next 150. Thank you for your trust.

Commitment to Community

Our strength comes from understanding and serving the people who live and work in our local communities.

Banking local

You're often urged to "shop local" to support hometown businesses.

It's a similar principle with banking. Your deposits stay here and circulate here, financing local businesses, supporting civic projects, and strengthening partnerships that move our region forward.

At INTRUST, we keep capital working in the communities we serve to help create opportunities that benefit everyone.

A bank’s welfare should be indivisibly tied to that of its community.

An inseparable tie

C.Q.'s principle of tying the future of the bank to the well-being of the community is foundational to how and why we do business.

When you choose a local bank, you play a vital role in strengthening your community.
